Movement and view
| Mouse | Look around; move the pointer in cursor mode. |
| W / A / S / D | Move forward / left / backward / right. |
| Shift (hold) | Move slowly. |
| Space | Jump. |
| X / Z | Fly up / down while flying or levitating. |
| Left mouse | Pick up objects or search for secrets. |
| Right mouse | Use or interact with an object. |
| E | Toggle cursor mode. |
| Esc | Pause and leave fullscreen. |
Combat
| Q | Draw / put away your weapon. |
| Left mouse (hold, release) | Charge and release an attack. |
| Right mouse | Use or interact with an object; cancel a charged attack. |
| E / Mouse wheel / ↑ ↓ | Change attack style. |
Spell casting
| Ctrl + rune initial | Select a known rune. |
| Enter | Cast the composed spell. |
| Backspace | Clear the composed runes. |
Special actions
| I | Show inventory. |
| F | Toggle statistics. |
| R | Toggle the rune bag. |
| Tab / M | Open / close the map. |
| L | Open / close the message log. |
| P | Make camp. |
